With their qualifications, success orientation and passion, our employees determine the future and competitiveness of Christiansen Print. The well-being and satisfaction of our employees is therefore particularly important to us. As a medium-sized company, we assume our corporate responsibility in its entirety.
Keeping track of the entire printing job: As a pre-press coordinator, I’m everyone’s central contact person. That includes our customers, whom I advise on realisation of their print jobs; it includes our suppliers and reprographics providers; and of course, it includes all of our departments - assembly, printing, planning, service, and sales - for whom I prepare jobs for production and create documentation. We all work together as equals, agreeing on how to proceed, understanding each other’s concerns, being actively involved and thinking outside the box... And the results make us all proud every time. I love my job!
A career changer with a new favourite job: I was originally a carpenter, but I didn’t see much of a future in that field. At Christiansen Print, I started out as an equipper and then earned additional professional qualifications. Today, I’m a print media technologist, an incredibly fun job with a bright future!
From printing trainee to team leader: This is where I became an adult; I’ve developed here both personally and professionally. These days, I’m responsible for an entire team, and I also do correction in our colour laboratory. I chose Christiansen Print twice: for a traineeship when I was 16, and then again for a career. That says it all!
A cog in a well-oiled machine: Fitness, strength, stamina, planning skills, and the ability to keep track of everything: being an equipper is a challenge in every respect, and there’s no such thing as boredom here. The pleasant working environment and great co-workers are only part of the reason that Christiansen Print makes me feel like I'm part of a large, successful whole - and that’s a great feeling!
Part of the Christiansen Print family: Right from the first interview, I was impressed by the company’s open atmosphere, and the way everyone was on a first-name basis. In our creditor/debtor accounting department, I create end-of-month reports, process employee travel expenses as well as incoming and outgoing invoices, and much more. It requires a meticulous eye for detail, but it’s also interesting work, full of variety. The really essential part to me is having an employer who does everything possible to help me contribute, develop, and earn professional qualifications.
