Her motto is "Only together are we strong!": born in 1982, Nicole Dentler, Human Resources executive, has been training our office management apprentices since 2019.
The trained office manager joined our company in 2007. After completing her apprenticeship, she gained initial work experience in the accounting department of a large industrial company and as a system manager in a joint radiology practice. "Then I came across Christiansen Print's job ad and found this young and modern company totally exciting here in Ilsenburg. I applied for a job straight away, got an interview and was taken on three days later."
Today Nicole Dentler's responsibilities at Christiansen Print are extremely complex. They range from HR correspondence and company pension schemes to monitoring occupational health checks.
However, she devotes particular attention to training, her main duty. Not only does Nicole Dentler teach junior office management staff herself, she is also responsible for all the organisational aspects of training within the company. Together with the instructor team, she develops concepts, finds new ideas and implements them, too — she simply loves it: "We instructors work closely with all departments at Christiansen Print. We also make intensive use of existing synergies between production sites. In Germany, Christiansen Print sites are connected to each other in a tight network" — and therefore strongly involved in training. As a member of the THIMM Highpack Group, Christiansen Print also liaises closely with the entire training team, e.g. to implement the THIMM group-wide training strategy.
What matters to Nicole Dentler is that future skilled workers can expect clear structures to rely on and a person to talk to during their apprenticeship at Christiansen Print. And they should know that "Instructors' doors are always open if they need a personal chat, and that there is a solution to every problem. We give constructive feedback and targeted support, promote team spirit and initiative — this is the cornerstone that underlies personal development and true loyalty to the company", the instructor explains, outlining her philosophy.
The mother of a son, Nicole Dentler is also active and creative in her spare time. Her hobbies include handicrafts and do-it-yourself, and occasionally going for walks to get some fresh air: "It clears your mind!" she says.
