Always more than you’d expect: Hibernating? Not us. We started the new year wide awake in January with a “lean” workout – a week of intensive training with Porsche Consulting. And at the end we had important findings, fresh impulses and lots of motivation for the new year.
The starting signal for “lean management”, initiated and supported by Porsche Consulting with yearly audits, already sounded in 2013. Our objective back then as it is today: Take large consistent strides forward in the direction of Industry 4.0. Customer-oriented, ultra-fit and mobile, transparent and qualitatively brilliant – perfectly prepared for the rising requirements of the rapidly changing print market.
Operational excellence: As always, however, we expect more and have set the bar higher and further. Besides the classic core themes of “streamlining”, such as optimising production workflows or reducing waste, we are radically defining and steering the processes in all corporate areas of Christiansen Print anew. Creating organisational structures that make possible a never-before-seen production capacity, effectiveness and efficiency – profitable for all partners in the value-adding process. That's how we define the standards of the future for the preprint industry – now.
