Don’t want to spend all day sitting at a desk during your apprenticeship? Would a production hall with large printing presses be just the thing for you instead? Then apply for an apprenticeship as a Media Technologist Print!

At Christiansen Print, we print paper rolls for corrugated cardboard manufacturers and the branded goods industry using modern digital printing and flexo printing processes. We are a preprint specialist. At our site in Ilsenburg, we supply well-known companies from a wide range of industries with high-quality printed products, for example for packaging and displays.

As a THIMM Group company, Christiansen Print has been part of the Saica Group since August 2026. In a working environment that is both modern and family-like, we are on first-name terms with each other and help shape the success of our company together.

What can you achieve with us?

  • As a Media Technologist Print, you are responsible for putting colour onto the paper.
  • You operate the printing press and monitor the quality of the printing process.
  • You mount and check the printing forms and are trained in colour technology.
  • Your three-year technical apprenticeship includes, among other things, attending vocational school, instructional discussions with the trainers and project work with other apprentices.

How can you win us over?

  • Have you successfully completed Year 10? Are technology, maths and German your strong subjects?
  • Are you independent and eager to learn, and do you stand out for your adaptability and openness?
  • Are you fascinated by machines and production processes?
  • Are you curious about the technology behind the printing on the packaging you come across every day, for example in the supermarket?
  • Do you love colours and find it easy to tell shades of colour apart?

What can you look forward to?

  • You will be trained and continuously supported by professionally and personally qualified trainers. In regular feedback meetings, you and your trainers jointly agree on the course of your apprenticeship.
  • You start your apprenticeship with an exciting onboarding phase and get to know all the other apprentices right at the beginning.
  • Over the course of your apprenticeship, there are great events and joint activities with the apprentices from all sites, such as the apprentice barbecue.
  • Your health matters to us, which is why comprehensive occupational health care is a matter of course for us.
  • With our optional (e-)bike leasing scheme, we also support you in making your everyday life active and environmentally conscious.
  • You can also rely on predictable working hours in supportive shift teams, 30 days of annual leave and punctual salary payments.
